Quality Control Process
1. Incoming (goods) inspection (IQC):
It is the primary control point for the factory to prevent unqualified materials from entering the production process.
1). Incoming inspection items and methods:
- Appearance: generally verified by visual, hand feeling and contrast samples;
- Size: generally verified with calipers, micrometers and other measuring tools;
- Characteristics: such as physical, chemical and mechanical characteristics, which are generally verified by testing instruments and specific methods.
2). Material inspection method: a full inspection, b random inspection.
3). Treatment of inspection results:
- Receiving;
- Rejection (i.e. return);
- Concession acceptance;
- Full inspection (picking out nonconforming products for return).
- Re-inspection after rework.
4). Standards:
Technical Standards for Raw Materials and Outsourcing Parts, Incoming Inspection and Test Control Procedures, Physical and Chemical Inspection Procedures, etc.
2. Production process inspection (IPQC):
Generally, it refers to the quality control of the production activities in each stage from the material warehousing to the finished product warehousing, that is, Inprocess Quality Control. Compared with the quality inspection at this stage, it is called FQC(Final Quality Control).
1). Process inspection methods mainly include:
- First article self-inspection, mutual inspection and special inspection;
- Process control shall be combined with random inspection and inspection;
- Multi-process centralized inspection;
- Carry out inspection step by step;
- Product inspection after completion;
- Combination of sampling and full inspection;
2). Process quality control (IPQC):
It is to conduct inspection tour on the production process.
- First article inspection;
- Material check;
- Inspection: ensure proper inspection time and frequency, and inspect in strict accordance with inspection standards or operation instructions. Including the inspection of product quality, process regulations, machine operation parameters, material placement, identification, environment, etc.
- Inspection records shall be filled in truthfully.
3). Process product quality inspection (FQC):
It is aimed at the quality verification after the completion of products to determine whether the batch of products can flow into the next process, and it is a fixed-point inspection or acceptance inspection.
- Inspection items: appearance, size, physical and chemical characteristics, etc.;
- Inspection method: Sampling inspection is generally adopted;
- Unqualified treatment;
- Records;
4). Standards:
Operation Instructions, Process Inspection Standards, Process Inspection and Test Procedures, etc.
3. Final inspection control:
That is, finished product shipment inspection. (Outgoing Q.C)
4. Feedback and treatment of abnormal quality:
- Can determine, directly notify the operator or workshop immediately;
- They can't judge, then hold a bad model to the supervisor for confirmation, and then notify the correction or treatment;
- Record the abnormal situation truthfully;
- To confirm the corrective or improvement measures, and track the treatment effect;
- The inspection of semi-finished products and finished products shall be clearly marked, and relevant departments shall be supervised for isolation and storage.
5. Quality Records:
Provide objective evidence for completed quality operation activities and results.
- It must be accurate, timely, clear and complete and stamped with inspection seal or signature.
- It is also necessary to arrange and file in time and store in a suitable environment.
